Our Story

Rocco's Shoe Repair was established in 1942 by Rocco Ferrara. After immigrating to the United States from Italy, he opened his first shop on 367 Bleecker Street in NYC. He owned this store from 1942-1946 before moving his store to Hudson Street.

Rocco and Mary Ferrara moved their business to Suffern, NY in 1952. Rocco's Shoe Repair has been built around family tradition and was passed on to Rocco's son, Dominick, in 1969. In 2013, Dominick's son started learning the trade and now also helps with customer service.
